Urban Life or Rural Life - Your Choice

Urban Life and Rural Life – many factors to choose from and many to discard. I don’t think personally any of these will suit any person for their whole life. For a change a person should lead a life of both lives separately. When its time to work hard and earn big money, urban society and its life offers you the biggest opportunities. Rural life has its worth as here you can’t earn big cash but you can earn as much as would want to lead a peaceful and long life (due to the plants and greenery surrounding you).

Personally I have lived urban life more than the rural one, but living in far away areas from the city does give you a feeling of happiness, peacefulness, a life without tension to keep it short and sweet.

My village as we say it here is around 4 hours drive from the city and it’s worth the drive because the scenery during the long journey is mind blowing. I usually go there with my family mostly to attend some festivals and functions or mostly our relatives’ wedding parties and social and religious functions. I can assure you that parties there are real fun and for the whole family while in the city is more glamour than soul, more lightings than freshness. In the city, parties have just one meaning and that is drinking and dancing, where as in the village it’s more of fun and enjoyment. It’s actually a treat to be there.

The pollution factor also plays a big part. The greenery ratio is a on a big time high as you enter the rural zone and you really feel as if you have never lost a breath ever. It’s so fresh, the air, that it seems you are almost in heaven. The mornings and evenings are very cool, and the afternoons are hotter than the city. May be because the sunlight has a direct effect on you as there are no tall buildings to cover you.

But then when you think about fast paced life and creating a name for yourself, then its time you move onto the urban life leaving all the benefits of the rural life alone, because after all its money that plays the part of a person’s status and personality in the world today.

So finally in the end, its just that we need to balance both together, because we cant work harder and harder everyday and we cant relax all our lives.

This one is beautifully penned!. as i have always been mesmerized by the beauty of nature, so i really enjoyed reading the topic. spectacular scenery, unending greenery and serene atmosphere are the most heavenly features of rural areas. i wish i could spend a part of my life, somewhere in the reflections of paradise on earth.

Do you really think that rural life is only about relaxing and having fun? It seems to me that you've never really been a part of this kind of life. It's really tough.
